Discover the power of CHABA (Cannabis Health and Beauty Aid) at West by Northwest School of Massage in this engaging 8-hour CE! You will learn about our endocannabinoid system that is pre-programed to receive CBD as a natural pain reliever, anti-inflammatory agent and hormone regulator. In this two day, 8 hour CE, we will learn about the endocannabinoid system and the different forms of CBD available to us in CHABA. Learn the impact this topical has on clients and practitioners. What are the indications for it's use, how to educate our clients and contraindications to be aware of. We have partnered with multiple CHABA product lines so that you can sample them in class. Day 1: AP of the endocannabinoid system, Safety, education for clients and spot treatments during massage trades. Day 2: Pre-session vs Post-session applications, which topical is right for specific pathologies, contraindications, full-body applications during massage trades. We look forward to having you in class to experience the benefits of CHABA and gain more insight to better educate your clients! Please bring a hand towel, set of sheets, face cradle cover and blanket (for comfort). Wear massage appropriate clothing. We will have short breaks, please bring food and a mug for tea/water. We provide the CHABA product lines, unscented massage oil (rice bran) and lotion and tea. Class is from 10-2 each day, total of 8 CE's. Cost is $200 plus tax. If you can only attend one day, contact us for registration and we will send you an invoice. Class is limited to 12 LMT's.
