Thai yoga massage is a dance between giver and receiver- a type of bodywork which involves compressions, stretches, and twists traditionally done on a mat or futon on the ground. This allows the practitioner to use their entire body weight and the receiver to be moved around and placed in yoga postures while being massaged using hands, feet, forearms, knees etc. This class will involve a short self Thai yoga practice with meditation, Thai trade, and a demo for Thai on the table. Hajera is a graduate from WNWSM Massage school and Soaring crane Massage and Acupuncture. Her teaching style is influenced by yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as energetic & alternative modalities, Shamanic Clearing and Reiki. She has been practicing Thai Bodywork for almost a decade. Her website is www.embodyshenyogabodywork.com. Please bring: Clean socks (unworn) Blanket 2 Pillows Flat sheet 2 Yoga mats Please bathe and especially wash your feet prior to class, and avoid eating 2 hrs prior, because we do compressions and twists of the body effecting the organs.
